Koi 008 is a growing out to be a superb Kindai Showa.  At only two inches, the sumi is developing in ideal locations: a tricolor head, kata sumi and motoguru in both fins.  Even sumi placement on the body is ideal -- mostly separated from  the beni plates, a little bit on the tail fin  and strong on an upcoming head pattern.  The white nose and a clear odome boundary perfectly frames the torpedo shaped Matsonosuke body.
With a little more time and if the coloration improves  and finishes, 008 has good koi show potential -- baby champion potential.
