Showa
Pizza is our primary female Showa from one of Dainichi's winning bloodlines. She is currently six years old and 26 inches in length.
From her show career as a tosai to breeding stock in 2021, Pizza was awarded:

Pizza was chosen as Koinikuya's primary female breeder for her powerful, traditional Showa body shape and growth potential. She also has strong coloration, balanced and dark sumi and perfect motoguru.
Tekamaki
Showa
Tekamaki is one of only a few fish in the USA that were obtained from Isawa Nishikigoi Center (INC). This 24-inch, male, 6-year old can trace his ancestry back to Toshio Sakai's show winning Matsonosuke line Magoi Sankes.
Hallmarks of Maki's bloodline include resilient
red to pink beni, high-quality skin, Sanke-like ink black sumi and a long, serpentine, torpedo shaped body that only gets slightly
bulkier at age 10.
Since Maki's bloodline is from wild Magoi,
he exhibits very aggressive mating behavior, powerful muscles, disease resistance and
better than average growth potential, even for Showa males..
Somen
Showa
Somen is a red-eyed, five-year old male Kindai (new world) Showa from Oyama Koi Farm. Known for their ideal lines, white noses and well-balanced sumi,Oyama's Showas were derived from newer Dainichi bloodlines.
